Back to School!

Assalaamu alaikum.

As we welcome the students for our second school year. Here is some important information:

  1. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 (10am-2:00pm)
    • 10am-11:00am: orientation for parents
    • 11:00-2:00pm: orientation for students, meet the teachers, and introduction to subjects
  2. Thursday, September, 6, 2018 (8:30 am to 3:15pm)
    • Regular classes begin
  3. Drop off and Pick up location:  Community Hall (drop off at 8:30-8:40am and pick-up 3:15-3:25pm)
  4. School uniforms are required and can be purchased at Dahabshill & Redsea :72 B James St N, Hamilton, ON L8R 2K5
    • Girls wear white shirt under green dress and white hijab
    • Boys wear black dress pants and green T-Shirt
    • White socks and black or white shoes.

We are pleased to announce that the planned opening of the Hamilton Downtown Islamic School is this coming September for grades JK to 8. Our team is currently working hard to ensure the successful start of the new school and new school year.
